I received my PhD in speech communication from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and have taught a range of communication courses for the past 20 years. I have also worked in a variety of corporate, non-profit, and local church (outreach) roles before coming to Taylor in 2018.

My pastor, a Taylor alum, spoke so passionately about the Order of the Towel, that I couldn’t miss the chance to jump into such a great mission to serve well. I love the intentional community here and the privilege of incorporating spiritual life and academic life together. What a beautiful combination!
