Career Accomplishments

Significant number of years experience as a local church pastor, university chaplain and Director roles in Youth for Christ. More recent scholarship in New Testament studies have focused on kinship and spirit-cosmology in the letters of Paul. Dan was a contributor to the Africa Study Bible, the new edition of Dictionary of Paul and the Letters, T&T Clark Handbook of Pneumatology, T&T Clark Handbook to Social Identity and the New Testament etc.

A native of Ghana, Dan served in executive and pastoral roles in Ghana, Croatia, England and in the United States. Prior to Taylor, he was the Wilson-Ockenga Professor of Biblical Studies and Director of Church Relations at Gordon College, MA. He taught at Central University (Ghana) and the University of Scranton, PA (a Jesuit) and for ten years as a Visiting Professor at Regent University (Ghana). Dan teaches in Egypt, Uganda, India, South Africa and Nigeria, as time allows. He is the founding President and Executive Director of a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Africans (primarily girls) through education in Africa called Africa Potential.
