Entrepreneurship & Economic Development (Major)

Develop the vision, skills, and heart to launch ventures that serve both economic goals and human flourishing.

91ÇÑ×Ó’s major in Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (EED) equips students to become innovative problem solvers and principled leaders who create real-world impact through business. As entrepreneurship grows as a force for economic and social transformation, this program meets a rising demand for leaders who know how to launch and grow ventures that fuel economic growth and community development.

Offered through the Cornwell School of Business and Leadership, the EED major is for students who want to pursue bold ideas—whether by starting businesses, working in nonprofits or social enterprises, or driving change within existing organizations.

What sets this program apart is its dual emphasis on entrepreneurship and economic development within a Liberal Arts framework. You’ll build a strong foundation in business through Taylor’s Business Core while exploring how innovation can renew communities.

Graduates will be prepared to lead in diverse contexts—from startups to global development. You’ll be equipped with practical skills and a faith-informed mindset to create lasting change.
